Jaclyn & Steve — East Nashville Engagement

There's something about East Nashville that just fits a couple like Jaclyn and Steve — a little lived-in, a little golden, full of character. We spent the session wandering the neighborhood, and I shot it the way I love best: part digital, part 35mm film. Film has a way of slowing everything down and softening the edges, turning a moment into something that feels remembered rather than staged. The grain, the warmth, the way the light falls a little differently on a frame of film — it all adds up to images that feel like Jaclyn and Steve, not just photos of them.
