Extreme heat is fast becoming one of the world's most dangerous health crises — and one of its least visible. Produced in partnership with INVNT for Duke University, this mini documentary follows Nishad, a researcher whose work hits close to home: his native Sri Lanka, where rising temperatures threaten the health and livelihoods of entire communities. Blending personal narrative with the larger story of Duke's investment in global health research, the film shows how institutional support empowers researchers to tackle the problems they understand most deeply.
