Every season starts with a story — and the Big 12's women's basketball conference had three worth telling. As editor on this three-part pre-season documentary series, I shaped raw footage into narrative, building each episode around the new and developing storylines defining the conference going into the year: the programs on the rise, the players to watch, and the rivalries taking shape. Editing a documentary series is about finding the through-line in hours of material — knowing which moments carry emotional weight, where to let a quote breathe, and how to pace three distinct episodes so they stand alone yet build as a set. The result is pre-season content that doesn't just preview a schedule, but gives fans a reason to care before tip-off.
